Arkansas Emergency Base Maps

Quarter-Quad Topographic Map Series of Arkansas

RGIS Mid South has developed a series of prototype Emergency Planning Maps for three Arkansas Counties.  After a review by our Arkansas Department of Emergency Management (ADEM), we intend to complete an entire coverage of these 17" x 22" pdf map products for any local area official (or citizen) to download free of charge. Both topographical and aerial imagery maps will be available. Each map (in pdf format) displays local streets, police departments, fire departments, and other features of interest for a quarter quadrangle. We hope these map products will enable Emergency Response Teams to leverage the benefits of Arkansas' GIS data services and have maps of their local area ready if needed in any future emergency. These map products may also assist with local emergency planning and response efforts.
